Snow Fun!

Whether you love it or you hate it, the campus is yet again covered in a fresh coat of snow. But if you love it, you’ve probably found plenty of ways to enjoy it so far this season. Back in the 1960s, students held snow sculpture contests every winter, and some of the creations were incredible! The contest was held during Winter Carnival Weekend. Check out past blog posts about the winter tradition (Winter Carnival Weekend Part I and Part II).

Here are some of our favorite creations for inspiration on this snowy day.

Who votes for a resurrection of the snow sculpture contest? Or, at the very least, in honor of the Centennial, who’s willing to create a huge “100” out of snow? We’ve got a few weeks of snow friendly weather left, so now is the time!
